New Year's Eve is also the Bean's birthday. This was her 40th! Happy Birthday, Beanie!!!
We had planned festivities at my house including dinner and cocktails, mainly because we couldn't get a sitter. Unfortunately, Beanie came down with a flu-like illness so she stayed home watching porn while the rest of us tried to enjoy the evening without her. (Just kidding about the porn... sort of...)

Our evening began with frozen cranberry margaritos, followed by dinner from Cavanna Pasta which was delicious - gnochhi, spaghetti, and spinach ravioli with an assortment of sauces, along with Italian chopped salad, crusty bread, and red wine. Dessert was bourbon balls. And of course, we had the obligatory champagne at midnight (with sparkling white grape juice for the kids).

A good time was had by all, although it wasn't the same without the Bean's antics. We get a re-do as soon as she feels better!
