Yesterday, Taz and Rainbow engaged in a little trade. He gave her a $5 bill and in return, she gave him a $10 bill.
Needless to say, I was concerned that she didn't understand the art of negotiating and that she'd agreed to a bad deal.
Then they told me the rest of the terms.
He agreed to be nice to her for a long, long time.
"Forever?" I inquired.
"Mom..." Rainbow crinkled her nose and shook her head slightly. "You know he couldn't be nice for that long."
Smart girl.
I think I'm going to slide Taz a $5 and see if I can get the same deal.

Update: Taz had to return the ten spot by noon the next day. Ah well. He tried.
