I got home late tonight from a team meeting for school and my kids had already gone to sleep. Rainbow left me this note:
Dear Mommy,
I really miss you all day & night. Your gone so much & I hardley see you. Lots of hugs and kisses (I love you so much!)

Nevertheless, it is the right thing. By doing this you are making yourself a better person and a better mommy.
We should plan a few "cute and casual" evenings until classes are done.
Then you can get back to ignoring your family because you will be training with me.
And then REB will be busy. Will I ever ride?
After I took the promotion with my previous employer :-) I was traveling quite a bit the first 6 months. My son did a a drawing of him on the ground and an airplane in the air. He was waving good by to me in the airplane. That sucked.
I'm happy to say that things have settled down a bit but I still remember that drawing from time to time.

It won't last long and she won't even remember it in the end. You're a great Mom or else she wouldn't even notice you've been busy.
